The Aligned Health Model
The conventional medical model is excellent at triage, treatment and stabilization. It addresses disease and illness at its worst and provides life-saving procedures and treatments in critical cases. Yet, conventional medicine sometimes falls short in addressing the root cause of chronic disease due to time constraints, conventional training and bias. Chronic disease then progresses and often treatment becomes very expensive, costing the healthcare consumer at large billions of dollars annually.
